Emily Harris, PT, DPT Center Therapy Director
Emily’s interest in physical therapy began when she volunteered at a therapeutic riding center, where horses were used to enhance therapies, introducing her to the possibilities of physical therapy. She since received her BS in Exercise Science from the University of Northern Colorado before completing her Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of Colorado. Emily loves her job because she gets to help patients recover from their injuries while building relationships with them. No one else gets to spend as much time with patients as physical therapists do. Her favorite quote: “motion is lotion” because it’s a fun description of the basis of physical therapy. Emily spends most of her free time with her two horses.
