Brenden Matus, MD, MPH (Level II)
Brenden Matus received his Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan and his master's of Public Health, Medical Epidemiology degree, from Loma Linda University. He earned his Doctor of Medicine there in May 2014 and completed his occupational medicine residency in 2017 at UC Denver, under the tutelage of his now-colleague, Dr. Paul Ogden. His interests include hiking, camping, anything involving water or mountains, and visiting with friends.
Jackie Denning, MD (Level II)
Dr. Jacqueline (Jackie) Denning joins Workwell after finishing her residency with Colorado University School of Medicine at the Anschutz Medical Campus Preventive Medicine Program. Prior to her residency at Anschutz, Dr. Denning was a Staff Physician at Divine Hospice and Palliative Care, where she has also held the role of Medical Director and CMO. She is DOT certified and has DOWC Level II accreditation. She holds degrees from University of Colorado, Saint Louis University School of Medicine, and Campbell University. Passionate about healthcare improvement, she is committed to delivering a superior level of care and having a measurable impact on her patients’ lives. In her spare time, Dr. Denning enjoys gardening, sewing and hiking. Dr. Denning is board certified in Preventive Medicine.
Margaret Gasienica, PA-C
NCCPA Board Certified Physician Assistant, Margaret received her Master of Medical Science degree from St. Francis University and Margaret went on to obtain her Physician Assistant certification in 2013. Her clinical clerkship experience is as extensive as it is diverse, including family practice, pediatrics, cardiology, and emergency medicine. For the past 7.5 years, she practiced as a PA in neurosurgery at the Colorado Brain and Spine Institute. Her favorite activities include mountain biking and backpacking with her fiancé and their two dogs. Margaret speaks fluent Polish and is proficient in Spanish.
Kaitlyn Steffy, PA-C (Level I)
Kaitlyn is an NCCPA Board Certified Physician Assistant, licensed in Colorado who graduated with honors with a Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies from South College in Knoxville Tennessee. With diverse practical experience in fields including Sports Medicine, Cardiology and Emergency Medicine, she is committed to current, evidence-based practice combined with excellent communication skills to advance patient understanding, trust, and compliance. Her approach is highly organized and proactive, with a team-oriented mentality. In her free time, Kaitlyn enjoys running, hiking, and snowboarding. She also travels the country to spend time with family.
Cynthia Molloy, PT
Cynthia has been practicing physical therapy for more than 20 years and has traveled many areas of PT including acute care, home health, sports medicine, and private outpatient clinics. She is a lifelong learner, evident with her specialties, and she always likes to try new things. Her favorite places in the world are India, Nepal, and Bhutan.
Caleb Mere, PT, DPT - Center Therapy Director
Athletic in his youth, Caleb developed a curiosity for the human body, its functionality and performance. After studying health and human physiology at the University of Iowa, he went on to get his master’s there in the same field. He moved on to get his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Duke University. Through the course of his academic training he has gained experience in a variety of settings including outpatient orthopedics. He uses a patient-centered approach backed by research and experience. His focus for the future is to improve the quality of life for his patients through movement. “I calm things down and build things up.”
John Lysinger, PT, DPT
John Lysinger is a career physical therapist, having completed his Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in May 2022. He has an extensive background in highschool and collegiate strength training and conditioning with several years in the health and fitness industry. As a student he has treated patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, responsible for performing evaluations, developing plans of care and adjusting interventions as necessary for patient success. He is a motivated leader and enjoys partnering with his patients in their treatment to gain optimal outcomes. A standing member of the Army National Guard, since 2016, John enjoys being in a position to help people be safe when disaster strikes.
Brandon Bryant-Godsey, PTA
After serving 4 years in the Navy and graduating from Concorde Career College in 2019, Brandon joined workwell’s DNE team in December as a physical therapist assistant. With experience in acute care and outpatient settings, he is passionate about his patients’ recovery and seeing them get back on their feet. When he’s not treating patients, he’s likely working out, hanging with his girlfriend or playing with his dogs.
Noemi Dire, MT
Noemi has provided therapeutic services to clients from all walks of life since 2011. She is ACCET and COMTA accredited, having completed more than 1,000 hours of formal training and more than 115 hours of bodywork internship with Denver School of Massage Therapy.
Rachael Hanselin, MT
A graduate of Cortiva Institute (Formerly Denver School of Massage Therapy), Rachael initially became interested in Massage Therapy when she saw how it helped her husband walk again. She began her career in the spa environment and is excited to be practicing Massage Therapy in the medical arena. Rachael is passionate about healing others and believes there is never just one way to do that.
Maurene Flory, Ph.D., LPC
Maurene has been practicing psychotherapy internationally and along the Colorado Front Range in hospital and primary care settings for the past 15 years. She holds a Doctorate of Philosophy and Master of Arts from the University of Colorado and a Master of Arts in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University. Maurene supports all of the Workwell clinics, helping patients to restore and resume quality of life after suffering injuries sustained in the workplace.
Leslee Hecht, LCSW
Leslee has been a practicing social worker in Maryland and Colorado since 1992. After completing her Master’s in Social Work at the University of Maryland, she has worked in diverse settings, beginning with a long career in international and domestic adoption practice, as well as post adoption/search/reunion work. Shifting her focus to medical social work, she has practiced in the areas of hospice and eldercare/PACE programs, hospital case management, and as a community mental health counselor. She looks forward to meeting and consulting with Workwell clients to help them navigate the road toward physical recovery and peace of mind.
Rip Mobus, DC
Dr. Richard “Rip” Mobus is a 1990 graduate of Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon, where he studied an evidence-based approach to manipulative medicine. Dr. Mobus has worked in an integrated setting with medical providers in occupational medicine while serving on various committees with the Colorado Division of Workers Comp and partnering with the Medical Task Force that revised neck and lower back medical treatment guidelines. He was also a course instructor for the Division of Work Comp Level 1 re-accreditation program for nine years. In his spare time, he also performs Independent Medical Exams and record reviews. Outside the workplace, Dr. Mobus competes in road cycling, having started his own team in 2016.
