Colorado Supreme Court: Workers can be fired for using pot off-duty (6-15-15)

The state Supreme Court ruled 5-1 on June 15, 2015 that a medical marijuana patient who was fired after failing a drug test cannot get his job back. The case was being watched closely by employers and pot smokers in states that have legalized medical or recreational marijuana…

New Designated Medical Provider Rules (April 2015)

As of April 2015, you will need to make sure your list of Designated Medical Providers includes 4 physician options for your employees to choose from when injured on the job. You may choose by location or physician, and one of the four must be a separately owned entity.
